1. Type of Garage Door

Wood Garage Doors
Authentic handcrafted wood carriage house garage doors are insulated to provide beauty, energy efficiency and strength. Custom designs and wood species are available.

Fiberglass Garage Doors
Artfully molded wood-grain fiberglass surface concealing durable steel construction. Fiberglass is as close as you can get to the warmth and beauty of wood with less maintenance.

Full-View Glass Garage Doors
Aluminum doors made of glass and aluminum complement your home’s clean, modern look. The large full view glass panels beautifully fuse indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing your home’s glass expanses and patios

2. Insulated vs Non-Insulated

Insulated Doors
Double-layer steel doors have one steel layer on the outside, backed with a thermal layer of polystyrene. Triple-layer steel doors are comprised of a steel front, polystyrene or polyurethane in the middle, and a steel backer. The backer provides soundproofing and additional insulating value to the door.

Non-Insulated Doors
Single-layer doors are stamped from a single sheet of galvanized steel. These are usually the most economical of all steel doors. These doors are a single layer and do not have any insulation.
